Hi, this is DJHe||icious aka He||s_Be||e and I am one of the newer DJs at ACN. I have been a regular on and off at ACN for the past five years I have always been impressed by the DJs I listened to and the wide variety of music they play for the members of ACN. Music of any kind has always been a passion of mine to the point that I collect just about anything and everything I can lay my hands on! My music collection is now in the region of 45 thousand songs, which I still add to on an almost daily basis and they range from classical to opera to death metal to country - and just about everything in between!
I started chatting to some of the DJs and was amazed to find that they were just ordinary members like me, though there are several who have much experience in this field elsewhere. It did give me something to think about though and after a lot of encouragement from both regular members and DJs as well as greatly appreciated support from people like `b|ack_orchid, who keeps everything running smoothly, I am now proud to count myself as one of ‘the Team’.
What I think is important to remember is this is YOUR Radio ACN - for all members to listen to and enjoy and that is why you will find such a mixed collection of music on offer. Though it is usual to post a playlist of what DJs have in their collection in order to give members an idea of what we have, I am sure none of you want to trawl through 45 thousand tunes and I do pride myself on being able to play just about anything someone requests - if not that day then certainly the next. So there’s a challenge for you all, listen in - I guarantee you won’t be disappointed…
